Before you purchase a package, you should review these guidelines, to make sure indie3G.com is the right service for you:
1) Anyone can submit a song for consideration. Many songs will get rejected. Review our Terms and Conditions before submitting your work.
2) We reserve the right to reject any music for any reason. Period. If we reject your music, but you have already purchase a promotion package, we will refund your money the same day the music is reviewed.
3) Accepted music appears in our system 48 hours after being accepted. You will get an email notification of such.
4) You should submit your music in the highest quality possible. Format doesn’t matter: we accept MP3, WAV, AIFF, AU and just about any other stereo mixed music. Some Artists choose to degrade the quality of their music slightly on purpose, to reduce the temptation for others to steal their music.
Be sure to normalize your music before submitting it. Normalizing means raising the volume as loud as you can without it clipping (distorting). Otherwise, your music will be lower volume than the other tracks.
5) You can include 1 to 5 images to go along with your track, depending on what package you purchased. Images may include Artist photos, CD covers, drawings, 3D renderings, or just about any other type of image. Format should be PNG, but we also accept TIFF, PSD and JPEG. Dimensions should be square. Minimum resolution should be 320x320 at 72dpi.
6) Each package allows you to submit text information along with your song.
WE AUTOMATICALLY INCLUDE: ARTIST NAME, SONG NAME, AND CD TITLE.
You should supply information that tells your listeners where to buy your music, how to contact you, or where to come hear you play. Good examples:
- Your email address (if short)
- Your MySpace or FaceBook page
- Your own Website address
- Your telephone number
- If your music is available on iTunes™
7) Random playlists: Your music is included in our random playlists for the amount of time you purchase on your package. We do not offer any guarantees about what order your music will appear in, or how many times you will be played. It is totally random, unless otherwise stated.
